Lagos State government don secure court order wey restrict protesters to Gani Fawehinmi Freedom Park for Ojota and Peace Park for Ketu.

Lagos High Court Judge, Emmanuel Ogundare, wey dey handle di ex parte case wey Lagos State Attorney General, Lawal Pedro, bring, don approve di restriction order on Tuesday.

Pedro tok say di order na to protect state infrastructure and stop deaths during for di planned ‘End Bad Governance’ protest.

Pedro tell di court say di state police no get enough manpower to provide security support for protesters wey plan to protest for local government councils, public highways, and other public access areas.

'We sabi say citizens get di fundamental right to stage public protests against government policies and actions, but we also wan prevent unlawful destruction of lives and properties for di process. So, Lagos State government don choose two public spaces and locations where citizens fit meet and protest or show their dissatisfaction against di government,' Pedro talk.
