Petition intending to remove Kanye from Coachella is aimed at reaching 35,000 signatures
There's a strong move to get Kanye West to be dumped from Coachella 2022 line-up.
The petition to have Kanye West removed from the 2022 Coachella Festival came up due to his 'threatening' behavior regarding Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson.
More than 26,000 signatures have been garnered so far.
Now known as Ye, West has caused controversy with the very public way he has dealt with splitting from ex-wife Kim Kardashian, and the animosity he's directed at her new boyfriend Pete Davidson.
West has recently been having difficulties on social media, for he was kicked out of Instagram for 24 hours.
Kim's new boyfriend has reportedly hires extra security after Kanye publicly threatens to 'beat his ass'.
The change.org petition intending to remove Kanye from Coachella is aimed at reaching 35,000 signatures.
"We have watched Kanye harass, manipulate and hurt Kim, Pete and others for over a year now," its page says.
"No one seems to want to stand up to him and the ones that do, he puts under fire as well. Most recently, he has been threatening actual bodily harm on others.
"This is ridiculous that he is allowed to freely do this. Coachella (along with other brand names that are still working with him) should be ashamed of themselves and should not be giving him any more of a platform."
