"Congrats to the African Giant" - Deezer

Afrobeat superstar, Burna Boy has been named the most-streamed African artist globally on the popular music streaming app, Deezer for 2021.

He nails it a second time consecutively, as he had the same position last year.

Deezer announced this news on their Twitter page on Friday, November 27th, 2021.

However, Burna, who hasn't released an album this year is rising on his lat year projects and those beyond.

The artist had an incredible year no doubt, receiving his first solo Grammy nomination earlier this year for his 2020 album, 'Twice as Tall', before being nominated again only days ago for the 2022 edition.

Deezer announced the following;

@burnaboy is the top-streamed African artist on Deezer globally in 2021.

Congrats to the African Giant.

Deezer is a French online music streaming service. It allows users to listen to music content from record labels, including Universal Music Group, Sony Music, and Warner Music Group as well as podcasts on various devices online or offline.
