The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command don talk say dem go stop people from dey use tinted glass for Abuja.
Dis new law na part of dem plan to reduce crime for the city, especially ‘one chance’ robbery wey bad people dey use tinted motor glass take hide.
Dis announcement come from the Commissioner of Police, CP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, during one press conference for the police headquarters for Abuja on Tuesday. DSP Josephine Adeh, wey be Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for the FCT, still share video for social media to pass the message give everybody.
Why Dem Ban Tinted Glass?
CP Disu explain say tinted glass dey make law enforcement work hard because e dey block dem from seeing wetin dey happen inside motor. Him talk say criminals dey use tinted glass hide and even some kidnap victims don confirm say people no fit see dem when dem dey inside tinted motor.
Him still talk say plenty people dey use motor wey no get number plate or dem go cover am, and dis one dey make wahala worse. CP Disu warn say police go begin enforce dis law immediately. Him talk say, “Nobody get right to tint him or her motor.”
Private and commercial vehicle owners go make sure say dem motor dey follow dis law to avoid kasala.
