Burna Boy To Play First Hollywood Bowl Show

Apart from performing at the Hollywood Bowl, he will also perform in other countries

Grammy winner Burna Boy, the Nigerian Afro-fusion rapper, has promised to play his first show ever at the Hollywood Bowl on Oct. 8, as part of his Space Drift World Tour. 

Apart from performing at the Hollywood Bowl, he will also perform in New York City and San Francisco.

According to Broadway World.com, tickets to the Hollywood Bowl concert will go on sale to the public at 12 noon tomorrow. However, a presale began Monday for American Express Card Members and will last until 10 p.m. Thursday.

Meanwhile, Live Nation's presale will take place today from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Songkick will have a presale beginning at 10 a.m. on Thursday. Those interested can download the Songkick app to be notified as soon as presale tickets are on sale.

Born Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, Burna Boy is a songwriter, singer, and rapper whose song "Ja Ara E" is included on Beyoncé's album "The Lion King: The Gift." Burna Boy also collaborated with Sam Smith on the latter's single "My Oasis."

In March, Burna Boy, 29, won the Grammy for Best Global Music Album for "Twice as Tall."

"This is a big win for my generation of Africans all over the world, and this should be a lesson to every African out there: no matter where you are, no matter what you plan to do, you can achieve it, no matter where you're from because you are a king," he said.

In addition to Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco, Burna Boy's 2021 tour will make stops in Portugal, Finland, United Kingdom, France, Spain, and Sweden.
