Afrobeats singer Lojay and producer Sarz, have teamed up for the official music video for the popular single 'Monalisa.'
Lojay announced the release of the visuals on his Instagram page in a simple way by posting a snippet of the video.
The song is already on the top 10 spots as seen on Apple Music Nigeria: Top 100 Chart.
The video was shot in Lagos, directed by UAX.
This track has already proven to be a hit with over 9 million streams, reaching the UK Afrobeats Charts Top 20, #2 on the Apple Music Chart (Nigeria), heavy radio rotation including hitting #9 on the Nigerian Radio Charts, and generating hordes of TikTok dance challenges. It currently sits at #9 Apple Nigeria Hot 100 chart.
The singer said that Monalisa is one of the big surprises of the EP. He is surprised that although the song failed to make it to the project, now it’s one of the biggest songs in the country.
‘Monalisa’ was released as a single in June and has confidently taken center stage as the Afro-Fusion EP of the summer.
