Brigadier General Yushau Ahmed, wey be Director-General of di National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), don announce say corps members go dey collect N77,000 allawee every month, starting from February 2025.
As e dey talk to di 2024 Batch ‘C’ Stream II corps members for Katsina State on Thursday, Ahmed confirm say di increase don already dey inside di 2025 Federal Government budget and go take effect once dem approve am.
"Dis month (January) don almost finish, but once dem approve di budget, by next month (February), una go dey receive N77,000 instead of di N33,000 wey una dey collect before," e talk.
Di NYSC DG still assure say government go continue to support corps members with better welfare and security. E talk say dem no go post anybody go insecure area, so make dem serve Nigeria with full dedication and confidence.
