Di oga kpatakpata of KEDCO, Abubakar Yusuf tok this one for news conference for di company headquater wey dey for Kano. Oga Yusuf tok say KEDCO dey collect only 180 megawatts from di company wey dey give light for three months now. Im tok say dat one no reach anything bcos di place wey KEDCO dey cover need 600 megawatts. Oga Yusuf tok say dem need 600 megawatts to fit serve all di areas for di three states wey dem dey serve. Oga Yusuf say im dey beg all di KEDCO customers wey dey di three states make dem get patient with dem bcos di problem no be only Kano but everywhere for Nigeria.
Di oga kpatakpata of KEDCO also tok say fire wey burn for Dan'agundi Transmission Station for Sunday disturb di company work well well.
According to di Oga, one big transformers for di company burn too much and dem no fit repair am but dem don repair the second one.
He still tok again say Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) don help di matter as dem don bring back light for di feeders dem wey bin spoil before.
The KEDCO oga say im no happy as people dey spoil di transformers bcos as e be like this, na three transformers dem dey spoil everyday.
Oga Yusuf say those wey dey thief light dey bring us back, na so im talk say im no happy sake of say people no dey pay full for light wey dem use because e dey cause wahala for power sector.
Oga Yusuf say di major company for light matta, Future Energies Africa, FEA dey plan to build 200MW to give more light thru 100 mini-grids to make customers get more light.
Im tok say for di sake of more light to di people, di 1MM Zawachiki Power plant in Zawachiki, Dem don use am, de Zawachiki and Gida Dubu communities dey enjoy at least 20 hours of light everyday.
Again, di 10MW Haske Power plant wey dey Challawa, Kumbotosso LGA wey NSIA do don dey ready and agreement don dey with government to bring more light to di people of Kano, Katsina and Jigawa States.
Oga Yusuf tok say make di people wey dey around dey join hand to stop people wey dey spoil the transformers for their areas.
