Federal Government tok say dem go soon announce di increment of salary for civil and public servants, so that di workers dem go fit dey comfortable.

Di Government tok say, di Presidential Committee for Salaries dey do review and dem go put some changes on di salaries by New Year.

Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige, na him tell State House Correspondents after him get secret meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari for Presidential Villa,  Abuja.

Ngige, wey tok say him go seat of power to tok about matters wey concern him ministry, employment and productivity, tok say 2022 na year of plenty wahala between oga and workers.

When dem ask am whether him discuss di matter wey concern to increase salary give di President as things dey cost for di country, he tok say : ''Yes, say na wetin him dey tok say di Presidential Committee for Salaries dey work hand-in-hand with di National Salaries Income and Wages Commission. Di commission wey dey mandated by the Act wey dem establish to dey fix salaries, wages and emoluments no dey for only di public service.

''He tok say, if you want their help and you dey work for private company,dem go help you. Dem get wetin dem dey call template remuneration, for compensation. So if you work, dem go compensate you but if you no work dem no go compensate you''.
