'Dumebi' received a gold certification in France

Fast-growing Nigerian singer, Rema's single 'Dumebi' received a gold certification in France after attaining 15 million streams.

The news was first published via Instagram yesterday by Virgin Records in France.

The company announced the feat with the words: "Dumebi" le titre de @heisrema est single d'or avec plus de 15M de streams ! 📀👏🏻

When translated to English, it reads like "Dumebi" the track of @heisrema is gold single with over 15M streams! 📀👏🏻

Rema released Dumebi in 2019 as part of his self-titled debut EP and in just two years, it has gotten a gold certification in France, reports Notjustok. 

The singer also has in focus, a new upcoming album, 'Raves and Roses'. This is a project that will bring together stars like 6lack, Mahalia, AJ Tracey, and others.

It is heartwarming to know that the singer is not only making waves in English-speaking countries. 

Rema is ready to take the world by surprise.
