Superstar Nigerian artist Davido is ready to give out 20 million naira to 20 people for business purposes on Friday 18th March 2022. The artist admits the fact that the country is truly hard.
David Adeleke is well known as Davido, he's not just a musician but also a philanthropist, the artiste announced on his Twitter page that he will be giving out 20 million naira, due to the hardship and suffering in the country.
“Country 🇳🇬 hard right now sha... Let's give 20m to 20 pple on Friday.... Send in your business ideas or start-up ideas... More details to shortly #Wrblo,” he wrote.
The Afrobeats artist also lamented in series of tweets about the situation of things in the country, fuel scarcity and lack of electricity in the country, he beckons on Nigerians to be united and help each other because the government has failed us.
“Govt don fail us nah to dey help each other we dey now 🙏😈❤️🤞,” he added.
He was teased by some fans about doing a Twitter giveaway instead of visiting hospitals and charity organizations. He also gave his replies to some Twitter trolls.
However, OBO complained about the amount of money he spent on clearing his newly acquired Lambo “U don’t even know how much I just payed to clear my lambo…. Pray for Nigeria …. Jesus.”
Davido joins the long list of artists complaining about the situation of things in the country.
He has proven not to be just an artist but a philanthropist, on his birthday last year he donated 250 million that was given to him by his friends and he made sure it was well distributed.
Davido keeps showing why “we rise by lifting others” is more than mere words to him.
