CKay is the most-watched African artist on YouTube for the last 12 months
Fast-rising Afrobeats singer, CKay has hit a new milestone on the global video-streaming platform YouTube.
YouTube statistics reveal that the singer is the most-watched African artist in 2021, beating off Nigerian heavyweights like Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, Yemi Alade, etc.
CKay racked up a total of 1.4 billion YouTube views in the last twelve months.
Following after CKay are Egyptian singers, Amr Diab (936 million), Mohamed Ramadan (890 million), Hassan Shakosh (856 million), and Tamer Hosny (775 million). All of them follow the Nigerian singer on the list.
‘Emiliana’ his latest single recently debuted on the Billboard top 200 charts at number 190, as the first Afrobeats song to make the Billboard chart without an official video.
