Jovita Akudo Eke

Jovita Akudo Eke is a Broadcast Journalist with Wazobia FM, Lagos, Nigeria. Renowned for her  pidgin sports updates  with a fusion of comedy and commentaries on Wazobia FM and few other  sports platforms in Nigeria.  

She was formerly with Brila FM, before joining Wazobia FM as part of the crew of Football Republik .

She has anchored and covered notable sporting events  like the Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup  (on radio) Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon in 2022 , etc.

Jovita graduated from the Imo State University with a second class upper degree in Mass Communication.

She currently anchors Wazobia FM’s flagship sports programme, ‘Football Republik’ which airs from  Mondays – Fridays: 7.30am – 7.45am, and Saturdays and Sundays: 2pm – 8pm.
