Army major general, Umaru Mohammed, wey Nigerian Army court-martial. Go collect room self contain inside jail, as the court say eim dey do 14 out of the 18 case wey dey on top eim head.  

The Nigerian Army Special Court Martial carry this judgment on Tuesday, and dem give the former Group Managing Director of Nigerian Army Properties Limited (NAPL), wey also be Major General, seven years imprisonment.

The court still order am say e must return 2.17 million dollars and N1.06 billion wey eim thief, back to the company.

The President of the court, Major General James Myam, tok say dem base the judgement on top the laws wey dey Nigeria.

Mr Myam yarn say, "The judgement wey this special court-martial give, dem go run at the same time and dem need to confirm am from the appropriate authority. The sentence dey start from today, wey be the 10th of October 2023, and the court dey adjourn Sine die."

For count one, wey dem say eim thief money, dem give am five years imprisonment and e go return 1.04 million dollars back to NAPL.

For count two, dem sentence am to five years imprisonment and e go pay $400,800 back to NAPL.

For count three, eim go serve five years for prison and return $85,400, while count four na five years imprisonment with order to return $35,300.

For count five, eim go dey prison for five years and e go return $55,500 to NAPL.

Count six na five years imprisonment and e go pay back $46,500.

But for count seven, dem free am, but for count eight, eim go prison for seven years. The remaining charges wey eim guilty of, go carry five and two years imprisonment.
